>>>Wytout is my 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS (turbo charged). On
May 8, 1998 I drove it off the lot with a mere 8 miles on the
odometer. It did not take long to turn 8 miles into 8 thousand
miles, and within the first month I began acquiring mods. My
main concerns for the car were that I wanted it to be different than
everyone else's Eclipse and I did not want to "rice it
out." So far I think I've done the car justice.
Being a GS, this Eclipse was not turbocharged from factory, and it
utilizes the 420A 2.0L DOHC motor instead of the 4G63 2.0L DOHC used
in the turbo cars. |

A couple years ago, after making many appearance,
motor and handling enhancements, I decided wytout could use
some more power. So I invested in the Hahn Racecraft Level II
turbo kit made for the 2nd gen. non-turbo motor. To the best of my knowledge
there are literally less than a handful of Eclipses and Talons with
a turbocharged 420A in the state of Connecticut. Please visit
the HRC Turbo Install section of this site to find out more about
the actual components used and modifications performed to turbo charge
this car..

| The photo gallery and
modifications sections each go into more detail about the evolution
of wytout. Spring 2002 is here! Wytout spent the long
winter buried under blankets in the garage, but now that nice
weather is here you're likely to see us cruisin' the pike, tearin'
up the twisty Connecticut roads, or hitting the local drag strips.
Well, hitting the drag strips once I have a new clutch!
If you see us out and about don't be afraid to say hi!<<< |
